Introduction to the NEW PokemanDan.co.uk and a Plea..

Hello everybody and welcome to the long awaited launch of the BRAND NEW PokemanDan.co.uk! I thought I’d just give you a little bit of an insight on what changes I have made and where the site is (hopefully) going to be going in the next few months or so.

Change 1: More decks in The Testing Zone!

This was something that was one of my main priorities for the site since the TCG format has changed quite a bit from when I first updated it and now you should find all updated lists all the way to BW: Emerging Powers along with 4 NEW decks to keep your creative juices flowing. As ever, please comment on the pages as well as the new-look Testing Zone page to help the growth of the site.

Change 2: Video Game Section

I wanted to design this site so that everyone can get as much as they can from playing the game that we all love, Pokemon. However, along with the changes to the 2011-2012 season now supporting the Video Game a bit more, I thought I’d give it a go too and try to push the Video Game as much as possible. The only thing is is that I’m not too hot on the goings on of competitive VG play so this is where you lot come in (look below to see how you can help out..)

Change 3: Login and Article Submission!

As you can see in the sidebar, you can now sign-up to PokemanDan.co.uk and have your chance at becoming a TCG or VG article writer. All you need is an email address and a username to sign up and you’ll be added to the monthly newsletter as well as be able to submit your own content to the site. As mentioned above, this site is only going to grow with your help (especially when it comes to the Video Game) and it’s looking a little bit empty now so please make sure you sign up and have your shot at becoming a writer for this site I will be working out some kind of reward system for people that do in the future, but in the meantime I will be keeping track of who submits articles and contributes most to the site to reward them accordingly when things start filling out. You can either write a TCG article, VG article or write a Featured Card article about your favourite or interesting competitive play card. Get your creative juices flowing!

That’s pretty much all the big changes for now apart from the obvious design overhaul so please comment below with what you want to see added to the site or ask me any questions you have about submitting articles.
